Give an interview back
Release an interview you cannot do so it is offered to others straight away. Early enough, it carries no strike.
If you cannot do an interview and no colleague can take it, give it back. We offer it to other interviewers straight away.
Steps
- Open the interview from Today.
- Open Can't make it?.
- In Why can you not make it?, write a short reason.
- Click Give this interview back and confirm.
Will it count as a strike?
- Given back early enough (usually 12 hours or more before the start): no strike. The page tells you this before you click.
- Given back later than that: it counts as a strike, and the page says so in bold.
- A third give-back within 30 days also counts as a strike, however early.

Good to know
- A reason is required. It helps us explain to the candidate if needed.
- For an expert interview the candidate booked with you, the candidate is told.
- Handing the interview to a colleague never counts as a strike. See Hand an interview to a colleague.
