Strikes and appeals

What earns a strike, what happens after three, and how to appeal a strike you think is wrong.

Strikes protect candidates who have paid for an interview. Each one is listed on the Strikes & appeals page with its reason, and you can appeal one you think is wrong.

What earns a strike

  • An interview you did not join.
  • A report not filed by the deadline.
  • An interview given back at short notice, or your third give-back in 30 days.

What happens after three

Three strikes (the usual limit) pause new interviews. While paused, you can still file reports you owe, and everything you have earned is still paid.

Appeal a strike

  1. Open Strikes & appeals from the menu.
  2. Find the strike. It links to the interview it was for.
  3. In Why is this strike wrong?, explain in a sentence or two. For example: you were in the room and the candidate was not.
  4. Click Appeal this strike.

Our team checks the room record and tells you the outcome by email.

Rules

  • Appeal within 30 days of the strike.
  • Each strike can be appealed once.
  • A strike shows as Counts, Appeal with our team, Removed on appeal, Appeal turned down or Cleared.

Good to know

  • The top of the page shows how many strikes are Counting now.
  • If new interviews are paused and a strike is removed on appeal, our team can switch you back on.
  • For anything else, write to Support.
