Calibration and second opinions
New interviewers score recorded reference interviews so a 7 from them means a 7 from anyone. Calibrated interviewers may be asked for second opinions.
A GH Score only means something if a 7 from you means what a 7 from any other interviewer means. Calibration checks that before you start.
Do your calibration
- On Today, click Start calibration, or open Calibration from the menu.
- Click Watch and score next to a reference interview.
- Watch the whole recording.
- Score it as you would your own interview: every criterion from 1 to 5, and an overall score out of 10.
- Click Submit my scores.
- Repeat for each reference interview (usually two).
You never see the candidate's name or the original scores. When your scores land close to the reference, offers start.
Results
- You are calibrated: offers are open to you.
- Not passed yet: your scores were further from the reference than we allow. Our team will review them with you before you take interviews.
- Calibration opens soon: reference interviews are recordings of real candidates, so they open after you have been on the panel a few days.
- Nothing to do yet: reference interviews are still being prepared, and you can receive offers in the meantime.
Your scoring, privately
The Calibration page also shows how your recent reports compare with the panel, your calibration gap, and candidates' ratings. Only you and our team see it. It is a guide, not a target.
Second opinions
Our team may ask you to score a recorded interview blind, to keep scores consistent across the panel.
- On Today, find Second opinions asked of you.
- Click Watch and score.
- Score it and submit.
Recordings are shared for quality checks only. Never share or download them.
