Share a student's progress with their parents
Make a private, expiring link that shows a parent the student's drives, rounds, offers and trainings, without an account.
A parent link is a read-only page of one student's placement progress that a parent can open without an account. It is part of the Campus Placement Package.
What the parent sees
- The student's drives and how far they got in each round.
- Offers.
- Trainings attended or missed.
- No phone number, email or roll number.
Make a link
- Open Roster and find the student.
- In the Trainings column, click Parent link.
- Under Works for, choose 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Click Make the link.
- Copy the link and send it to the parent yourself, by email or message.
Withdraw a link
- Open the student's parent link page.
- Under Links that work now, click Withdraw and confirm. The link stops opening at once.
Good to know
- The page shows when each link was made, when it expires and whether it has been opened.
- Placement officers, staff and heads of department can make links.
- The link stops working if the package is no longer active.
