Book an expert interview

An expert interview is a live 1-on-1 video interview with a professional who does the job. It is never AI and never a group round. You get a GH Score report, and your first completed session earns the Interview Verified badge.

The rounds

• General round, 30 minutes: communication, fundamentals and how you think. A good first session.
• Technical round, 45 minutes: a deeper round on your role's core skills.
• Senior expert, 45 minutes: you pick a senior interviewer yourself, including company-specific preparation.

Steps

1. Open Expert interviews from the menu.
2. Under Choose your round, click Choose a slot on the round you want.
3. For a senior expert, first pick the person under Who would you like?.
4. Experienced candidates can choose Regular interviewer or Senior interviewer. A senior interviewer costs more.
5. Pick a time. All times are IST.
6. If you have prepaid sessions, leave Use one of my prepaid sessions ticked.
7. Click Continue to payment and pay. See Pay for an expert interview.

After booking

• For a general or technical round you choose a time, not a person. The session shows Finding an interviewer until one accepts, and we notify you.
• For a senior expert you see their own free hours, so the interview is confirmed as soon as you pay.
• Open the session from Expert interviews to see its status, add it to your calendar and join on the day.

Good to know

• You see the price before you pay.
• Rescheduling and cancelling are free until a few hours before. See Reschedule or cancel.
• No slots showing? Interviewers set their own hours. Try the other round, or check back tomorrow.
