End the interview, or report a no-show
How to end the call so the report opens, what to do if the call dropped, and how no-shows are settled from the room record.
When the interview is over, end it from the room so the report opens. If the candidate never arrives, report a no-show from the interview page.
End the interview
- Click End interview in the bottom bar.
- Confirm. The call ends for both of you and you go straight to the GH Score report.
You can end it once about half the booked time has passed. Before that, the session stays open and you can rejoin.
The call dropped and the session still shows as open
- Open the interview page.
- Next to Interview finished but still showing as open?, click Mark it complete.
The room record must show that you and the candidate were both on the call. If it does not, you are told what to do instead.
The candidate did not turn up
- Join the room and wait at least 10 minutes after the start.
- On the interview page, under Candidate did not turn up?, describe what happened in What happened?.
- Click Report a no-show and confirm.
We check it against the room record at once. If the candidate never joined, your fee stands. If the record shows they did join, it cannot be recorded as a no-show.
Good to know
- No-shows are settled from the room record. If you did not join, the fee is forfeited and a strike is added.
- If a candidate cancels inside the late window, you are still paid for the time you held.
