Use the hiring board and stages
Drag applicants between stages on the hiring board. Candidates are told about every move.
The Hiring board shows your applicants as cards in columns, one column per stage. Drag a card to move someone along.
The stages
- Applied
- In process
- Interview scheduled
- Interviewed
- Offered
- Hired
- Rejected
- On hold
Applications can also show Closed (no reply or job closed), which the platform sets when a job closes or nobody replies for 30 days.
Steps
- Open Hiring board from the menu.
- Use the filters at the top to narrow it to one job or a set of people.
- Drag a card to a new column, or use the stage box on the card.
- The candidate is told about the move.
To reject someone
Rejection is not a drop target. Open the applicant's page and use Reject with a reason. The candidate reads that reason.
Good to know
- The strip at the top counts In the pipeline, Still open, Starred by you and Hired.
- A busy column shows its newest applicants. Use See all under the column, or narrow the board to one job.
- Change what candidates receive at each move in Candidate messages.
- Some stages move by themselves: scheduling a round moves someone to Interview scheduled, and marking a round Completed moves them to Interviewed.
