Hide your profile from a company
Block a company, usually your current employer, so it cannot find you in the talent pool or unlock your details.
Looking quietly while you still have a job? Hide your profile from your current employer or any other company.
Steps
- Open Privacy & data.
- Find the card Companies that cannot see you.
- Choose the company from the list.
- Click Hide.
To let a company see you again, click its name (with the × next to it) in the same card.
What hiding does
- The company will not find you in the talent pool.
- It cannot unlock your details, even with credits.
- If it unlocked you before, it stops seeing your details.
- Recruiting agencies of that name, or recruiting for that company, are kept away too.
Good to know
- Pick the company from the list rather than typing. We match on the company record, so a name we do not recognise would leave you visible.
- If your company is not in the list, write to us from Support.
- To keep every agency away, switch agencies off on your profile. See Talent pool and agencies.
