Take a skill test
Free, timed, monitored tests for every role. Your target role test feeds your GH Score. Here is the format and the rules.
Skill tests are free for every role. The test for your target role is the one your GH Score reads.
Steps
- Open Skill tests from the menu. Your target role is pinned at the top.
- Click Take test (or search More tests to take for another role).
- Read Before you start and What is in it.
- Click Start the test — the timer begins now and confirm.
- Answer the questions. Answers save as you go.
- Submit when you are done, or the test submits itself when time runs out.
The format
- Usually 20 questions in 35 minutes: 2 aptitude, 2 reasoning, 2 English and 14 about the role.
- The instructions page shows the exact time, sections and whether wrong answers lose marks (usually they do not).
Rules while you take it
- The timer runs on our server. Closing the tab or losing connection does not pause it.
- The test runs in full screen and is monitored. Switching tab, window or app, leaving full screen or pressing a screenshot key each count as a warning.
- Copying, pasting, right-click and printing are blocked and recorded.
- Usually 3 warnings close the test and submit what you have saved. A closed test is reviewed by our team before it can count.
Good to know
- Started but interrupted? Click Resume on the Skill tests page while the timer is still running.
- Each role can be taken once every 30 days (usually). The page shows Retake from with the date.
- An employer may ask you to take a test for a job. It shows as Skill test requested in My applications with a Start the test button.
- Prepare with Practice tests first.
