Recruiting agencies: interest checks and sharing

Answer when an agency asks if you are open to a role, and stop sharing your progress with an agency you joined through.

Partner recruiting agencies can find you in the talent pool and ask whether you are open to a role.

Answer an interest check

  1. Open the link in the notification from the agency.
  2. Read the role, location and pay band.
  3. Click Yes, I am interested or No, not for me.

Asking shares nothing. The agency found you by role and skills and has not seen your name or contact details. If you say yes, it may unlock your profile to contact you, and you are told when it does.

The agency can see your profile, skill tests and progress.

  1. Open My profile.
  2. Find Joined through with the agency's name.
  3. Click Stop sharing my progress with the agency, and confirm.

It then no longer sees your profile or progress. It keeps only the reports of interviews it paid for.

Stop agencies contacting you

Switch agencies off on My profile with Stop agencies finding me. See Talent pool and agencies.
