Complete your profile

Four short steps: about you, your education or work, your target role and skills, and your resume. You need a minimum profile score before you can apply.

Your profile is your application. Employers filter on it, so a complete profile gets you found more often.

Steps

  1. Open My profile from the menu and click Edit. New accounts start here automatically.
  2. Step 1, About you: pick where you are in your career, where you are based, a one-line headline, an optional video introduction link, your date of birth and gender. Click Save and continue.
  3. Step 2 asks students and freshers about their education (degree, branch, college, graduation year, CGPA, active backlogs). Experienced people are asked about their work instead (current company, role, total experience in months, notice period and salary bands).
  4. Step 3, Role and skills: choose the role you are aiming for and 3 to 10 skills you are confident being tested on.
  5. Step 4, Resume: upload it now or later. See Upload your resume.
  6. Click Finish.

Add your work history (experienced candidates)

  1. On My profile, scroll to Work history.
  2. Under Add a role, choose the Company and Your role.
  3. Fill in From and To, or tick I still work here.
  4. Optionally add your Annual pay. Only you see it.
  5. Click Add role. Use Remove to take one off.

Good to know

  • Companies, colleges, roles and skills come from fixed lists so employer filters can find you. If yours is missing, use Not listed? Request it.
  • The Completeness card shows your score and what each missing item is worth. You need a minimum score to apply (usually 60%).
  • Your target role decides which skill test counts toward your GH Score and which jobs you see first.
  • Change your career stage when you graduate or start work. The questions and the way your GH Score is weighed change with it.
  • A video intro (YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link) adds a Video intro link that employers and agencies can watch.
